Having been involved in ozone laundry since its inception in the late 1980’s, I am committed to help bring ozone's promise into the mainstream of the laundry industry. Now, almost 20 years later, ozone is taking its proper place in the industry.

In mid 2006, I was doing some testing using elevated levels of ozone – these levels were higher than had been previously used. I still remember opening the door on the washer after one particular test – I knew immediately that the results of the test would in time change the laundry industry.

The test revealed that when washing at these higher levels of ozone, the most effective way to wash was without any alkali or any bleach. For those familiar with laundry, the ramifications are apparent. For those not so familiar, the ramifications are covered in detail throughout this website.

The question became what to do with this amazing find. I brought in Mark Moore, also a veteran of ozone laundry, as my partner; secured an arrangement with B & C Technologies, the fastest growing supplier of commercial laundry equipment in the country, to supply the specially modified proprietary WashDog washers needed to handle the elevated levels of ozone; secured an arrangement with ArtiClean to supply the WashDog Ozone Packs; confirmed that WashDog would not negatively impact tensile strength and fabric life; built and tested a prototype; field tested the WashDog and, of course, filed for patent protection. At each step, WashDog has exceeded expectations.
